We always try to create interfaces that give people freedom in their way of connecting to the work. Early on in the process of concept and development we noticed that these giant, elegantly moving, pendulums could be repurposed for other forms of creative communication as performance. Dancers feel immediately drawn into the piece and often express the desire to apply the installation within their work.

During the opening night of the exhibition at Dharts we performed together with musician Niko Hafkenscheid. Based on a few improv sessions, Niko played guitar and laptop and we played the pendulums as an instrument generating sound and light.
