Shock (2002)

A duo-screen installation inspired by 'shock', a theaterplay from 'de Queeste' about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The use of the two screens emphasizes the duomonolgue-technique used in the play. Two actors present a monologue in which they reveal the life and dreams of a young palestinian who just killed himself in a suicidal bombing. Throughout the personal and poetic story the two actors reveal a history-lesson and raw facts as well. (Text by de Queeste)
